Due to COVID-19, Learning Outreach is taking new measures to protect students and still ensure that kids still have access to educational resources in this time of crisis. Learn about what Learning Outreach is doing to help students in-need.
The Learning Outreach was founded by Amaya Ghoshal, a student of Monte Vista High school in Danville, CA in June of 2018. We are a non-profit 501(C)(3) incorporated in 2019. The primary objective of Learning Outreach is to provide educational aide to racial minorities and economically disadvantaged students both locally and globally. Testimonials Verde Elementary School in Richmond, CA- 6th grade teacher - May 2020 "I wanted to thank you again--these books have brought so much joy to my class! Today, I assigned my students a google form to write yearbook comments for their classmates. One student was so excited about receiving his book, that he wrote "Thank you for the book!" and "I'm so happy" in every box, instead of comments to his classmates! Your hard work has made a difference for my students, and for me as their teacher. Having engaging reading material is the MOST important thing in keeping kids' reading on track, so a million thank yous for all of your work in making this possible!"
Homeless Shelter, Contra Costa County - 8th grader - May 2019 "Nick’s latest progress report card: he’s turned D’s and F’s into B-‘s and a C. Amaya (and Learning Outreach) definitely shares the credit for that."
